Autumn brings renewed activity as people get back to their post-summer routines and their regular duties at work. Similar to my own increased schedule, professionals in the drinks world begin to stir as new products are launched and the thrill of beer promotions and golf tournaments wane. It may be expedient (I would rather explain it as pragmatism), but I have assembled a list of interesting articles that you will no doubt enjoy.
By the way, you may have noticed quite a jump in visitors to this site, thanks in part of an older story of mine that was linked to from Cracked Magazine's site. Over a quarter of a million people visited this site in the last week! I would like to thank their staff for noticing my work and their help in promoting this blog.
Obvious Observation that Canada's Liquor Laws Are Outdated
I spend a lot of time looking into this topic and there is a definite need for reform, despite vested interests to the contrary. This Calgary Herald ad sums up quite a few logical economic points that will hopefully get industry types (and lobbyists) talking....

It is good to see a bit of shake-up in the traditional order of things. Canada is yet again receiving some of the recognition it deserves!

Article on Toronto's "Most Authentic Mojitos"
It may seem that Mojitos are last year's trend, but its life is still hanging on the best it can. Once large vodka companies begin selling pre-mixed, rum-based drinks, it normally signals the death of a fad.
